Ex-ONWARD Guitarist Accepting Demo Submissions From Vocalists

December 6, 2006

Former ONWARD guitarist Toby Knapp has issued the following update:

"I'm in the early recording stages of a new record which should be out around the summer of 2007. The album will contain a lot of instrumental metal of course, but I am seeking a powerful progressive metal vocalist to contribute to several tracks. Any interested parties feel free to contact me through this site."

Knapp recently announced plans to release a collection of remixed/mastered demo tapes for what would have been ONWARD's last album, "The Neverending Sun". The ONWARD CD and the debut album from Knapp's black metal project WAXEN are both being issued through Metalbolic Records. The WAXEN album, entitled "Fumaroth", consists of recordings that were completed for WAXEN's 2004 demo and includes the track "Splendid Impure Light", which can currently be sampled on Metalbolic's MySpace.com page.

Knapp last year issued an instrumental album, entitled "Polarizing Lines". He also recently contributed lead guitar work to the split CD featuring the one-man death metal band SEEKING OBSCURE and UNBURIED.
